BLOG
This is my Blog post page. Down below I have all my created and finished blogs about things related to DDA.
For my second portfolio game review I am going to be talking about a game I have been playing for a long time! and recently just got back into. Clash of Clans is a game only on mobile devices and has been around since 2012 but really was at its prime in my opinion in 2015 with new game changing game modes and updates. Clash of Clans primarily is about you creating your on village however you want buying defenses and offensive buildings and making your own creative armies with a wide variety of troop selection. There's many online engagements with you being able to be in a Clan with up to 50 other players. With in the Clan you can donate troops help other people. You also can play in a very competitive game mode called Clan Wars where you and your clan will match up evenly with another clan min 5 to max 50 players and attack each other with everyone having a maximum of two available attacks. The winning Clan get rewards and XP to upgrade clan status which gets perks. There's also a way more competitive game mode in Clans called Clan War Leagues where for a week you have to fight everyday one Clan a day and get placed in a league with 6 other Clans and rank out for rewards. http://www.goodluckhavefun.net/wp-content/uploads/clash-of-clans-clan-wars-enemy.png Summary

So far this quarter I've been picking up the pace on turning in assignments and getting use to the program. At first it took me along time to get in my first assignment the snowman because I didn't really know what I was doing and it was my first time in a brand new software now Adobe tools all new and different and it took a while. But after the first assignment finished it got way easier with the videos guiding me through it. If it wasn't for the videos I don't know where I would be set for right know. Blog post has been real chill lately I guess because were winding down on the school year and focusing on really one material that's why, Or maybe because of all the missed days that's why we haven't really progressed super far into different stuff. 3D max has been real fun I wonder if I could put the animations I made into motion with the same program are would I have to use something different ? Overall these first 4 weeks have been pretty fun and I'm ready to expand my kills and finish off the school year strong in DDA.
Since the start of quarter 4 me and my class have been moving in a new program and set to get us prepared for next year in DDA 2. The 3D modeling has made this year real different because we move out of Adobe software. Every quarter this year we move in to a different set of programs but this one has been by far the most different because were done working with 2D artwork. The first assignment the 3D snowman was cool and simple and easy sort of a little get to know the program and the tools within. I'm not gonna lie for me as always getting use to the program takes a little while but once get the hang of it everything gets done within the deadline. The second assignment the create a 3d pencil I'm still currently working on I just started day before we left and the 2 days I've been able to work on it I've created a big amount of progress. The only issue that I really have been going through that's kind of a small fix is trying to get a good angle to do your work. Like when I'm working the plane is always moving around out of position and just doesn't do what I want it do and I can never figure out a way to get it back to normal so it just makes me doing work harder. But that's been the only problem I've really been seeing and that I can think of off the top of my head. I've really enjoyed 3D modeling so far and cant wait to get down more experience and create new challenging things. Citations Cool Images made with 3D modeling. Summary
