BLOG
This is my Blog post page. Down below I have all my created and finished blogs about things related to DDA.
Main takeaways From this classThe main takeaways that I have gotten from this class that I can use in other classes and in the future is that everything adds up so you have no choice but to be consistent. What I mean by that is its only going to get harder the more time goes by and what I most defiantly also learned is work do not finish its self. So you have to suck it up and try your best to get a grade or its a zero. I also have changed mindsets on time management for this class because in this class you cant try to cram in an assignment in one day and expect to get a high grade that's just not gonna go in this class if you expect to pass. Most rewarding experiencesMost rewarding experience in this class was just looking at what you created and showing it off because very few people know how to do what we do in this class. Another rewarding experience I guess in this class was to come in here and learn something different. Learning something that people don't usually do, working in software that is very expensive and being able to use it for free to educate us and have fun and learn. That is probably the most rewarding part of this class. Skills learned that I can takeaway and use in the futureNow the skills I learned that I can use makes me so grateful that I took this class. Now I really know how to use adobe software when before this year i didn't know a single thing about it. I walked in this class clueless of the material and I am walking out of this class with software skills of a pro. I now know what all the you tubers i watch do to edit and put effects in there videos and know I can do the same if I ever wanted to. I am carrying out he skill of knowing how to do 3D digital modeling make illustrations and pictures and my favorite skill edit photos into something totally creative and unique. Summary

The game that I will be reviewing is NBA2K19.This game is a virtual basketball game with its main platforms available on Xbox one and PlayStation 4. NBA2K19 has many game modes available for gamers some are strategic, creative, and casual. For casual players and for players who want to play against there friends at home there's play now which is a mode where you can choose any 30 current NBA teams and play with there real life players. If your a more in depth and consistent player your most likely going to want to play my career. My career is a game mode where you create and customize your own basketball player and play through the set up story mode of a real NBA basketball player. The online version of my career is a highly competitive and fun experience. You will be able to bring your fully customized and created player to a virtual basketball park and play 3 on 3 and 2 on 2 pick up games to 21 points. If you want to have more realistic gameplay then the Jordan Rec center is where its at, 5 on 5 games with other people just like you online playing. But if you really want to show your skills online with your player and be more competitive and want to play with friends you know 5 on 5 then Pro-am is the ultimate game mode. The last game mode outside of the my career platform IS my team. My team is where you build your own my team with current NBA players and put together a whole team roster of 15 players max any players you want and play with them online. My experience in 3DS max has changes a lot with what I've learned and been working through. First like it should be just going over the basics in the software doing all simple modes and stuff and then setups gradually start changing. I mean I was expecting it to get harder because this whole year going in to a new software means getting familiar with different levels and stages. At first working with the basic primitive was cool and real easy nothing to special. But moving into the modifier section is what really makes your work your because its a whole new level of creativity being added. After working with modifiers its modeling with splines which I haven't even got to start to work on yet I'm still on the flower part with the modifiers. But 3Ds max has to be the most detailed software we have been working in all year because you have so much control and access to your work compared to other things. The crazy thing about it is I've no where near explored and experienced everything with in 3Ds max to the maximum capability. So there's more to it and everything that I'm saying now isn't it and there's a bunch of more things I'm waiting to discover and use because 3ds max has brought me to a whole new level in Digital Design Animation. But this last two week is crunch time so I need to focus up on exams and get all this work turned in! Work done/References Summary
For my second portfolio game review I am going to be talking about a game I have been playing for a long time! and recently just got back into. Clash of Clans is a game only on mobile devices and has been around since 2012 but really was at its prime in my opinion in 2015 with new game changing game modes and updates. Clash of Clans primarily is about you creating your on village however you want buying defenses and offensive buildings and making your own creative armies with a wide variety of troop selection. There's many online engagements with you being able to be in a Clan with up to 50 other players. With in the Clan you can donate troops help other people. You also can play in a very competitive game mode called Clan Wars where you and your clan will match up evenly with another clan min 5 to max 50 players and attack each other with everyone having a maximum of two available attacks. The winning Clan get rewards and XP to upgrade clan status which gets perks. There's also a way more competitive game mode in Clans called Clan War Leagues where for a week you have to fight everyday one Clan a day and get placed in a league with 6 other Clans and rank out for rewards. http://www.goodluckhavefun.net/wp-content/uploads/clash-of-clans-clan-wars-enemy.png Summary
So far this quarter I've been picking up the pace on turning in assignments and getting use to the program. At first it took me along time to get in my first assignment the snowman because I didn't really know what I was doing and it was my first time in a brand new software now Adobe tools all new and different and it took a while. But after the first assignment finished it got way easier with the videos guiding me through it. If it wasn't for the videos I don't know where I would be set for right know. Blog post has been real chill lately I guess because were winding down on the school year and focusing on really one material that's why, Or maybe because of all the missed days that's why we haven't really progressed super far into different stuff. 3D max has been real fun I wonder if I could put the animations I made into motion with the same program are would I have to use something different ? Overall these first 4 weeks have been pretty fun and I'm ready to expand my kills and finish off the school year strong in DDA.
Since the start of quarter 4 me and my class have been moving in a new program and set to get us prepared for next year in DDA 2. The 3D modeling has made this year real different because we move out of Adobe software. Every quarter this year we move in to a different set of programs but this one has been by far the most different because were done working with 2D artwork. The first assignment the 3D snowman was cool and simple and easy sort of a little get to know the program and the tools within. I'm not gonna lie for me as always getting use to the program takes a little while but once get the hang of it everything gets done within the deadline. The second assignment the create a 3d pencil I'm still currently working on I just started day before we left and the 2 days I've been able to work on it I've created a big amount of progress. The only issue that I really have been going through that's kind of a small fix is trying to get a good angle to do your work. Like when I'm working the plane is always moving around out of position and just doesn't do what I want it do and I can never figure out a way to get it back to normal so it just makes me doing work harder. But that's been the only problem I've really been seeing and that I can think of off the top of my head. I've really enjoyed 3D modeling so far and cant wait to get down more experience and create new challenging things. Citations Cool Images made with 3D modeling. Summary
This quarter has been probably the one I enjoyed the most because I now have a few skills that I can use outside of this class and use for my own time. With us working in premier and creating YouTube videos I see the hard work and all the ins and outs and editing for what it takes to make a real YouTube video. But at the start of this quarter I really didn't like Adobe animation because of the complication and how in depth it is but with Premier its real straight forward and fun to me. But I have completed all the work in adobe Premier and I have a lot of it posted on my works page. This quarter it seems like we have received less blog post assignments then usual quarters but that works out to my advantage. One thing that would have been a cool assignment that would of really showed are skills in premier would be to make are own montage of anything and make a video of it. Like the knock knock joke we could of done that are self's and maybe that would f been are major project instead that would have been real fun to do. After effects and Premier are real similar though cant really find key differences I mean there is a couple that pulls them apart but straight comparing the assignments we took there very similar. Overall quarter 3 has been the most valuable one for me because I can take away the most and that I feel like I'm going to use later in life. I'm ready to see and find out what the last quarter brings. Summary
The game that im going to be reviewing is Fortnite battle royal. Fortnite has arguably been one of the most widespread fasting growing games in the world. And one of the most popular games to this date. Fortnite is a battle royal game with also a story mode with which you can play with your online friends . In the battle royal part of fortnite you get placed in a game up to 100 people all fighting to see to the death because to win only one person can be left. Fortnite can also be a very interactive and very team working game with you being able to play with up to three other people. Also fortnite has new seasons every 2 1/2 months that change the game completely bring new skins new maps new guns just new gameplay to a whole. The battle pass is a very cool add on because its adds the grind to the game with completing challenges and wining matches to progress through the battle pass. Also a fun thing about fortnite which separates fortnite from every other game is the building system. Not only do you have to shoot and eliminate people with your weapons. The building system really separates players a ton from the best to the average and sets a regular shooter and battle royal game different from fortnite. Overall fortnite is a very fun game which to me reaches a wide audience that everyone should play it and its FREE ! Summary
The first program that I started working and creating motion based artwork was Adobe after effects. The first assignment Ball Animation looked a little challenging because of the rinse and repeat process and I thought that was going to take forever. But it went by actually pretty quick because it wasn't complicated and was a straight forward process. The second assignment in After effects was the creating a motion graphic of yourself. It took me a little while to figure out where to get stated from and some ideas. But once I got a little bit of rhythm and got down the tool and the way the program worked I finished that with ease to. The difficulty started to come in Adobe animate I'm still struggling to turn in work. All the little tweens and shape hint stuff has been a real pain and confusing because there's so many tools and when your starting you don't what to use at the right times. But I'm planning to catch up and turn in all my behind animate work in this upcoming weeks tutoring sessions. Adobe premier has given me a relief because its real simple and easy. All I have to do is pick some photos put them in a timeline and bam there's my video. First thing Monday ill have that first assignment turned in only took 3 days! compared to adobe animate that's unbelievable. But so far my favorite has been after effects because of the variety of editing and effects that u can do to your artwork.
Summary
So far quarter three has been very challenging with new programs every other week instead of focusing on one program a quarter. So far I'm four weeks into quarter three and I've already been working in 3 new programs. This past month I've been having to work in after effects, animation, and premier. Since we've been working and rolling at a fast past I really haven't had time to sit down and get the grasp of one program because I'm having to move on to the next. At first the ball animation looked very hard but after a while it was real easy and just got repetitive, and for my first time in after effects and creating an animation I think I didn't do to bad. The other after effects assignment was a little bit easier where you had to pull out characteristics about yourself and put in background music and add cool features and details was easy and fun. But the Animation program has been a struggle. I'm still struggling and having trouble to finish that monster animation its just every little detail of the character has to be perfect put in place and one little movement has to have a lot of precision and time put in to it. But I'm planning on finishing that up in next weeks tutoring sessions. I haven't even started on the animation project because I got to get the first one out the way. But I'm pretty on pace and good with the most recent assignment that you just gave us in premier that program seems pretty straight forward.
